Business Blogging 101: Staying Up-to-Date

McBuzz Communications and Mark McLaren have a lot going on lately. My apologies for the lack of new WordPress tutorials this past month.

Those of you who use WordPress.com know that WordPress recently released version 2.5 of its software. Updates are automatically performed on WordPress.com so you don’t have to worry about how that happens or whether or not to upgrade.

The upgrade to 2.5 makes existing Business Blogging 101 tutorials a bit harder to follow for those using version 2.5 – since most of the tutorials 1-25 were created using WordPress 2.3.

If you have questions or comments about any of the tutorials – or about WordPress in general – you can always contact me using the Contact Us form on this site.

If you are new to Business Blogging 101, be sure to have a look at the many WordPress tutorials available on this site – and on YouTube – by scanning through the titles on the WordPress Tutorials – Complete List page.

I would love to hear your thoughts about the differences between older versions of WordPress and version 2.5.

    I have a new video just finished that I will upload tonight. It’s a companion to the latest post, “Changing Fonts and Font Size Using WordPress” I hope you have a chance to check that out. It’s a bit technical, but no more difficult than this blog’s most popular post, “How to Position an Image and Wrap Text Around an Image Using WordPress”.

    I’m also pleased to report that my company, McBuzz Communications, and a partner, Arbutus Software Inc. just gave our first in-person seminar called “Introducing Web 2.0: New ways to market and manage your business using online media such as blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, wikis and collaborative websites”.

    I’m trying to figure out a good way to get the seminar online. It would be great to videotape it and put it on YouTube or here on Business Blogging 101.
